Everyone knows that weights are divided into many different registrations, so when maintaining and maintaining weights, it is important to pay more attention to the weight level. 1. All weights should be used according to the regulations of the calibration system table. The first and second level weights use actual mass, while the weights at all levels use nominal mass.



2. Temporarily unused weights must be placed in the weight box. The weight box should be placed in a clean, dry room with no significant temperature fluctuations or in a special glass drying box.



3. Weights of second class and first class or above should not be used with bare hands. Instead, soft and clean deer skin, silk, and silk cloth or fine yarn gloves should be used, and cameras, forks, or cushions should be used. The weights must be handled with care. When lifting large weights, they should be handled smoothly, slowly, and carefully, without damaging or scratching the surface of the weights. If there is rust, coating detachment, or deep and long scratches on the surface of the weight, it should be stopped immediately and rechecked after repair.



4. The surface of the weight should be kept clean. Weights above level 4 should be cleaned regularly.

When the cleaning weight is below level 5, if there is only dust on the surface, a clean brush or soft and clean silk and linen cloth can be used to remove the dust. If there is dirt on the surface of the weight, it can be wiped with a linen cloth dipped in warm soapy water, and then wiped dry with a dry and soft silk or linen cloth.



Grade 5.6 weights should be stored in a dry and safe place, on cement ground, and should not be stacked on damp ground. During lifting and transportation, the surface of the weight should be protected from wear, collision, damage, or rain, and should be covered with tarpaulin after use.



Weight calibration



When cleaning solid weights, place them in a shallow tray covered with silk cloth and clean as needed. When cleaning, gently brush with a soft brush and place it on another shallow plate, covered with dry, soft, and clean silk. Use dry, soft, and clean silk to remove any residual liquid on the surface of the weights and dry them (collision of weights is strictly prohibited during washing).



When using the adjustment chamber to clean the 3rd and 4th level weights, a small amount of cleaning solution should be used to gently wipe the clean soft silk cloth to remove dirt and dust from the surface of the weights.
